new topic • me & my music
Something I have hardly showed on the blog is one of my greatest
loves in life; music. I love it even more than fashion! I grew up with a
music junky herself; my mum. She had a big vinyl record collection, but
when cd records came into the picture, this was all she bought. Every
month she took me to the record store and we spent more than 2 hours to
check out what to get. A broad mix of Tina Turner, Pink Floyd, Jimi
Hendrix, Nirvana, Whitney Houston, Bjork, The Cranberries, The Prodigy
and a lot more. And I can remember us taping the top 40 tunes from the
Dutch and German radio on cassettes, and every time I went to school I sneaked one with
me in my walkman ^_^ This was the period where I went to school on my
skateboard being 11 years old. I can also remember our 2,5 our drives
to her sisters in the south west of Holland, in which we listened to
those tapes & where I always fell asleep because driving makes me
tired :P
